Ease of type in PageMaker

I just love the ease of type in PageMaker. I hate text boxes in software like Illustrator, Indesign, Quark. Am I the only one out there that thinks this way? I just love PageMaker's text bars and how you can just start typing and not worry about the added variables involved in the text box. I just wish InDesign had adapted that feature.

Yes, PM's free-form text boxes are very easy to use, but in the final analysis, frames have the edge when importing and re-flowing text.
