Quick question please:-
We are utilising 2 x BD8810 at the core of our network. VRRP is utilised and EAPS out to the edge switches.
VRRP setup is obviously 1 switch Primary and 1 Switch backup.
EAPS is set as Primary to edge switch - edge switch to Backup - backup to primary. This creates the ring for EAPS protection.
How much traffic would you expect to see traversing the ports on the backup core switch? I am using PRTG and am seeing some spurious information which may suggest that the backup switch is also handling traffic but from a VRRP perspective this should not be happening.
Thanks
