Each Record update from a Record Set

Lets take a file with few data Records. I need to read that data set from the file and do some modifications to some data fields and write back to a database table.

I can successfully read the data set and write into a database table without doing modifications. I have a problem of how to modify some data fields in each record.
How to use Rules for that?What is the approach?

You can use GETANDSET to update the input file so long as the fields are fixed length.

To modify the database rows you need to set the update keys in the database interface designer and use the -UPDATE command for the database adapter.
