Each night my backup completes without any problems. The problem occurs as soon as the nightly backup finishes. Immediately upon the end of the backup (for example, 5/01/2003) the backup scheduled for (5/02/2003) the next night begins. I have to stop this backup, and then remove tapes, and then reschedule the backup again. No changes have been made to the Backup file or the Veritas configuration within the last week. (This is how long the problem has been wreaking havoc on me). Any suggestions, or fixes will be vastly appreciated.

Look at the list of Scheduled Jobs (on the Active Job Tab). What time is the next 'nightly' backup scheduled for? I have found that if you schedule a job to run every x hours (ie. every 12 hours), if it gets put on hold the schedule gets messed up. The reason is that the schedule says every x hours and that's from the time the job actually runs. So, if your 'nightly' job is scheduled for every 24 hours and one job got put on hold, that could have messed up the scheduling.
