I have a Hybred Magix and the error page had a few E911 overflows. I looked at Partition #1 and all the extensions were there, "Allow 11" is enabled but no lines are assigned. This system has been in for some time, are the errors because no lines were available to make the 911 call?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Are your lines assigned to pool 70. That is the pool 911 calls route through and you can't change that. If all your lines are in a different pool, you could get that error.

That's interesting, I'll get back in a see.. What about the Allow 11, should that be on or off, and could that be causing some of it when faxes are set out.

Thanks for the tip..

Here's what the story book says about "Allow 11"

"In Release 1.5 or later systems, assign an Allowed List with “911” to the restricted extensions to allow the dialing of emergency calls.

When Allow-11 is enabled even if “11” is in the Disallowed List, users can dial “911” or “9-911.”

So, I don't think that has anything to do with it unless you are restricting "11" (such as International).

And yes, as Telcom states, you need lines in the 70 pool to make this work.

Merlinman,

Hybred/MakeSpace with 6 Co lines in pool 70 DAC 9.. ARS particion #1 has all the extensions.

With Allow11 enabled (like I found it), dialing 911 or 9-911 calls out, I can see it on the display(801-806).

When the Allow11 is disabled, dialing 9-911 is the only way the call can be made..

Thanks for you input.

Mike
