E8602 on BrightStor v.9 for Exchange Agent

I receive this error when I backup up my exchange server. " E8602 Failed to read from database. (DBNAME=Directory, EC=server name:Backup Agent Error -- (69) "Read/Write error in named pipes.".) How do I correct this error?

Did it ever work?

Try selecting TCP/IP as the protocol.

If it still fails enable debug and check the trace. faq478-4051

I can't do Brick Level backups using TCP/IP. I'll try the debug and I'll let you know.
