Hi,
Server = Server 2003 SP1
Arcserve = 11.5 and latest patches
Exchange = 2003 in a cluster with the Exchange agent
I have a Multiplexing GFS backup job with a Full backup on Monday and differencial Tue-Fri. I have selected a full backup on our Exchange server. The Exchange agent is installed but only for Database level (not brick). The full bacup runs fine on Monday, and starting a month ago the differencial backups are failing to backup the exchange info store with the following error:
E8602 Failed to read from database (DBNAME =First Storage Group, EC=Invalid user ID or password
However this is the same job with teh same credentials as the full backup on Monday whihc completed fine.
Things I have tried:
1) Seperate backup of just Exchange in a new job (both Multiplexing and not) Noth of these work fine
2) In the GFS job I have set the Exchagne agent options to always do a Full. This made no difference
3) Reinstalling and configuring the Exchange agent
I had this problem when I was using 11.1 and upgraded to 11.5 last week and the problem is still there.
Any ideas aprreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
