E8535 Failed to receive data from the client agent

I am running an staging job for exchange brick-level. MAilboxes backup, however i get the following error when it tries backing up public folders.

E8535 Failed to receive data from the client agent

Then shortly i get the following:

E8535 Failed to receive data from the client agent.

I have checked permissions/network connections, still no success.

That message from the activity log is as generic as it gets. To find out what is really going on check the Exchange DB Agent log. It is also recommended to enable debug, see the FAQ
