E7 ValuTec GC Set-Up *URGENT*

I've been having, the damndest time...getting the SVC interface on e7 (v4.2) set-up.

I have another client, using e7 and Valutec; and I've just emulated their set-up (minus the site-specific settings, of course). Installed the SVC, etc.; but when I try to set the SVC Inteface in e7...I keep getting the error:

Obviously, it seems I've "missed" something ("lack of assembly signature"); but I'll be damned if I know what. This is wayyy overdue, and the wrong time of year...to not be able to get this working.

I even RTFM; but of course ValuTec doesn't offer support, on the programming...and this customer, doesn't have any support with Oracle/MICROS.

HELP?!?

A Support Portal search, turned up the issue (sorry; I didn't have access to it, at the time; but my partner did, and we found it).

FYI: in newer versions of e7, there's an option under Restaurant/Security...to 'Permit Unsigned Interfaces'.

Yes...I wasted DAYS; for a check-box!
