E7 parameters to backup journal & db to thumb drive

Want to backup both the journal and db backup files to a thumb drive on e7 v4.2. I've used -usb1 -n7 with past versions for the dbbackup action parameter but the file is not being copied when the autosequence is run. The journal should copy to the first thumb drive it finds without parameters required. The thumbdrive is formatted and I can copy a different file onto that thumbdrive as a test.
