E7 and DHCP

If E7 is using DHCP does there need to be anything configured under DNS server addresses?
If there is a E7 PC is the set up still 'peer to peer'? And if e7 doesnt support 2 NIC how is the internet setup?

I have looked everywhere. Sad that Micros can't provide any documentation for any of this anymore.
