E6924-Warning- The Tape drive is having problems writing data

I'm running Arcserve 6.6. Novell 5.1. I have a HP Surestore Dat8 and an HP Surestore Dat24x6 autoloader. The tape drive is attach to server A. I'm backing up two volumes from server A. I'm backing up two other servers "B" and "C". B has 4 volumes and C has two. I'm only getting this error message on the SYS- volumes from the A server. Any ideals?

note: these are not the real server names just an example
