e6300 windows nt scsi port error[ABSL:0000 CMD 0h] SCSI Command Retry...I have scoured the web and getting hits with: "e6300 windows nt scsi port error[ABSL SCSI Command Retry" but nothing with the "0000 CMD 0h"
The backups complete sucessfully but logs get flooded with this error. A reboot seems to help temporarily. Running Windows NT sp6 and ArcServ 6.61 build 834sp2a.

which tape hardware is connected to your backup server ??

It is a Dell DLT 7000

there are a lot of things that can cause SCSI Port errors.
here are some things to try.
disable the tape drive from within the OS Device Manager.
power everything down, disconnect the cables, reconnect and power up.
remove any other devices on the bus
