Hi,
I previously had some database corruption stopping jobs. I fixed that (with this forums help) by running the dbcheck and keybuild tools. Then I got NT SCSI errors. Disabled the Tape drive in Windows which solved that (thanks ARCserveGuru). Now after a few days of 100% complete backups I am getting the following on verify:
E6096- Media Error [ABSL:2030 CMD:8h]
E3713- Unable to read from media
I only get these messages once, then the verfiy carries on for a little while and then the backup job stops with a "Failed" status.
I am running Win2k Server SP2, ARCserve 2000 SP3 (soon to be SP4), HP LTO 9 slot autoloader. I was thinking firmware on the tape drive shoudl be updated but this used to work fine.
Does anyone have any ideas please?
Thanks,
Matt
