E3717 errors on restore

Hi,

ARCserve 11.1 running on Server 2003
Tape drive is HP LTO 1/9 autoloader
Backup job is Multiplexing

Can anyone help with the following problems pleasE?

I am having a problem restoring certains directories. I have tried multiple backup sets and its alwys the same. It seesm that these files span over tapes (ie the directory is at the end of 1 tape and begining of another).

When I restore certain directories I get the following:

AW0083 03/02/2005 16:34:17 1330 6 Client Agent is being aborted.

E3717 03/02/2005 16:34:17 1330 6 Unable to goto cluster. (CLUSTER=8354964, EC=ERROR QFA CHUNK OFFSET SURPASSED)

W6698 03/02/2005 16:31:13 1330 MUX: Session = 6 hit SPAN condition during restore. Current TAPE: name = M-DAY-DIFF-MON-12/20/04, randomID = 19805, sequence = 2

W6698 03/02/2005 16:27:30 1330 MUX: Session = 6 hit SPAN condition during restore. Current TAPE: name = M-DAY-DIFF-MON-12/20/04, randomID = 19805, sequence = 1

The erros show that it's reading form tape seq#1 and #2.

I have seen a FAQ on HP's site about our version of Firmware having End of Tape errors on restores so I upgraded it and it made no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas please.

Install ARCserve 11.1 SP1.
