E3703 Unable to open media

Hi,

I get a very strange error for an SQL cluster full backup job.Arcserve R12 SP1

"E3703 Unable to open media. (MEDIA=14/4/2009, EC=Unknown error ID) "


There are sufficient tapes in the library in the scratch set.
I also ensure all newly imported tapes are erased and
formatted.

Could anyone help ??

Put the Job Engine in Debug and the Tape Engine into Detail mode, reproduce the problem and then check the activity log in both the section for the job and the generic log section. the Tape Engine writes to tape.log found in the log subdirectory.

Try different tapes, try a test job not part of a Media Pool.
