Hi,

I've tried the CA site but can't find anything, the line(s) in question read:-

E3453 Unable to write stream data. (FILE=H:\WPCSIN, ID=1, EC=INVALID PARAMETER)

Does this mean that the restore failed? My customer is checking the files for me at the moment but need to verify the error and what it means !!!!!!!

Cheers for any help in advance.
Regards,
Carl.

Hmmmmm, is this ARCserve 2000? Rstoring to NT? Or ARCserve for NW restoring to NW or NT? or what?!?!?!?

anyhow, without much knowledge of the issue *ahem* you may want to try restoring back to the computer which has the client agent on it instead of locally or something.

If your trying to restore NW files to NT from an ARCserve for NEtware Tape, not gonna happen unless you backed up without SMS and without compression.

little more info, please :) but try my suggestion anyway, about being backed up with agent, so restore to the agent.

guru

by the way, the files wouldn't have restored properly if this error occurred

Hi,

Sorry about that, it's Arcserve 6.61 834SP2A on NT 4 Server.

Cheers,
Carl.
