i have a problem, backuping a hyper-v server R2 with arcerve r12 SP1.
It doesn't matter, which files i try to backup from this machine, i get on each file the error "E3406 File could not be readed. (FILE=..., FC=The operation is not supported.)". I tried many things like comparing the services with an hyper-v server (not r2) were the backup works, but i didn't find a solution. I also tried to copy files between the backupserver and the hyper-v server and this worked, but ARCserve won't even backup.
Does anyone know this problem, or has any solution for me?
I use the german version of ARCserve, so i needed to translate the errormessage from german to english. Here is the original german message:
"E3406 Datei kann nicht gelesen werden. (DATEI=..., FC=Die Anforderung wird nicht unterstützt.)"
Even the "..." is a replacement of the path of the files
