Hi

(system: w2k server, arcserve 7.0)

When i try to restore from the Backup-Medium to the original source on an other server in the domain (same network, same subnet) i get the following error:

E3150 Unable to connect to network drive. (DRIVE=\\*****\***** EC=LOGON FAILURE)

When i restore local, it works. I have checked the security settings of the backup job and i think they're ok.

When i restore to a W2K Workstation in the same network, it works to.

Can anybody helps me ???

A couple of things come to mind.

Check to see if the backup was done via the Client Agent. If it was make sure the restore is configured to use the Client Agent and that the Client Agent is running.

Enter the security information in the format of domain name\user name.
