Is the server still running or crashed ?
what were you doing on the server when the message was generated on the LCD?
Is there anything in error report ?
If you run diag , and do system verification , does it report any errors ?

The server is at customers site. They had storms last nite> I think the error means it is just verifying image, I am unsure. I am not near server. James Collins

FEB Verify recovery image is
| A C T I O N load from diskette |
If the system will not boot up fully|and the checkpoint display reads "FEB",
|the firmware is partially corrupted, but |should be recoverable.
Make a copy of |the firmware update diskette, rename the |.img file to
PRECOVER.IMG and insert|this "recovery" diskette in the drive |
when the FEB appears on the checkpoint display.

IBM hardware can help you recover the firmware or possibly you can go to the web site for your machine for firmware and try to create a new image to floppy....
