Hi - there is anyone experience the below.

This was take from 3300ICP MXe II PABX software ver: 8

Log Number: 1353
Date: 2008/Nov/13
Time: 11:25:04
Source: AppShutdown
Description: Maintenance: Category(General); msgFormatId(0) Progress Monitor->InitiateShutdown System Shutdown invoked by task: E2TFail

Are you using an External DHCP server? If so, check to make sure it's running.

Does your MXe contain dual processors? (IE, the expansion kit)? If so, the second processor is used to perform the E2T (Ethernet-To-TDM) function. It possibly may have died. Some disassembly is necessary to get down to it (must pull the main board to get down to it)

Hi MitelInMyblood,

Thanks for responidng - My client uses MXe II & yes he uses external DCHP. The thing is, system went down( actually reset it self therefore came back on line and it happen for them to check logs and they found this E2T failed message.

So you mean processor need to be replaced?

Post-Mortem log dumps are often cryptic to decipher. If the system is otherwise back UP and running OK, then continue to monitor it. How long had it been running before this incident? Also, did it crash on the customer during the business day or overnight? Has this happened before?

Hi Guys,

Yes my customer has several clusters of 3300's.
however the shutdown happened during business hours & afterwards things were back to normal.
