Hello,

Im from argentina and i apology if my english is bad.

I have this issue: i've been configuring the e129 with it's main files (cfg, phonebook and firmware) and everything it's ok as long as i provide the option 66 with an external DHCP server, the question is: can i configure the IP Office DHCP server to provide the option 66 to my e129 phones?

Regards,

Hi,

I don't know but if I where you, I would check by putting my computer in a network where IP Office is the DHCP Server, open a wireshark and check options provided by the IP Office.
I also think there is a minimum version of IP Office to support E129, which version are you running ?

Best regards

Not that easy. DHCP servers only provide the options that are requested by the clients.

Yes you can, point Option 66 to the IP Address of the IP Office in the DHCP Server. I believe I was able to use Option 176 as an alternative to option 66 as well, but I can't remember for sure.

Hi

in your Avaya Manager, in IPOffice>system>system, in divice ID (under IPO Name), you must to complete the TFTP Server IP Address and HTTP Server IP Address.

This options, configure the Avaya IPO DHCP options.

If your HTTP and TFTP is the SD Card, you can put your IPO Lan 1 Address (192.168.42.1 by default).
