Any one knows how to do a trace from the E1 board?.

I just have this:
1- dip switch 2 in off

2- Make a Telnet connection to the ipLDK

3- put the password

4- Use the command mon> t b 6 5

And that´s it

but I cannot see anything, I don´t know if I missing something.

thanks for your help

by the way... the system is an ipLDK-60.

This seems to be OK, your way of setting up the trace.

mon> t b 6 5

With this command you test at the board in slot=6 individual = 5. Try to omit the "5".

mon> t b 6

Ok.

The trace I will see it in the telnet windows using TCP/IP or I need be connect in RS-232? If I need the RS-232 I will need the pinout of the cable and the communication setting.

Thanks

Telnet is doing OK. Just make some calls while tracing.

just for your information:

I was moving the E1 board siwtch, but the switch that has to be set in OFF is from the MBU.

Now I recive the trace perfect.
