In the states, T1 is generally 24 channels with no "D" channel for signalling. PRI is same physical as T1, but with D channel. BRI is BRI (2B + D) - but rarely used these days - never quite made it out of the gate...
Bri never was a succes in the states because it used 56k instead of 64k
So there was no reason to use isdn2 instead of a analog trunk

You can order BRI in the states however many carriers have significantly reduced their offerings. TOo bad because you could use the tariff to your significant advantage in many circumstances. The US version of IP Office does not support BRI so there's no reason to even discuss with customers.
