e-ways shutting down automatically

On ICAN 5.0.5, a different e-Way goes down at random about once a day. For example, I look in the egprod_cb.log, and I get the following message:

Bad message from ew_CerMntChgOut , Found in active list, Closing socket...

When this occurs, the log for that particular e-Way get wiped out, and starts over.

My question is what usually causes this to occur? Any help would be appreciated!
