i am in the process of developing an application of either a learning tutor for the java language or some kind of learning base for younger kids. For my java learning application i would to have a series of tutorials where the student can approach these on their own. i would like though to include multimedia in this. perhaps have a diagram in java where the user clicks on a certain aspect of this diagram (eg: linked list) and it automically brings up the code for that related diagram. i would like to base it within dreamweaver and have the relative java code contained somewhere else. i would like if you could help me out with, give me some feedback on it, what would be the best approach to take with it. turning away from java could i include some other options, maybe a maths learning base aimed at a certain age group.
looking forward to hearing from you
thanking you

r u looking for a full-web-based "teacher-student" system or this would be purely "tutorials"?
...meaning r u looking to give out timed tests and forms, mupltile choice test etc. OR are we thinking more about "presentational" aspect of free information that can be just HTML or DHTML?
what type of mulitmedia? audio & video files?live broadcast?
....post some more
