Is there anyway to automate the e-mailing of customer
invoices and/or purchase orders?

Similar to the way that customer A/R statements are e-mailed.

Thanks in advance!

we do it in crystal reports and use a product called pdf burster to automate the emailing of quota reports on a monthly basis to 85 salesreps.

we're using Liaison Messenger but had a lot of issues so I don't recomment it.

jazgeek can you give some idea on how you've set this up? right now I run quota reports in CR, then export out to Excel, and then use Excel macros to generate letters and email those out. your method sounds alot easier

Geez if your using crystal there is no need to export to excel to get letters. Just use crystal. You are 99% of the way home already.

download the trial version of pdfeburst, there's detailed instructions on what to do. Basically, you format the report to include the recipients email address in the header and pdfeburst takes over from there.

I have a crystal report that prints out rep's quota and sales to date as a percentage of quota and include their email address as specified by pdfeburst, export the crystal report to pdf and the program takes care of the rest.
