I have a form that I send out regulary to various people who then fill them in and return.

What I would like is to complete the form on Access which would be no problem, however, I would like to send out a form (to people who may not necessarily have Access), which they can then fill in and have some sort of macro (or html function) to either automatically e.mail the completed form to myself, or open up their E.mail program with my address completed and completed form attached so it is ready to send.

How could I go about this?

Would it be easier not to use Access in this case and just use html?
...I can do it over the web, but it is personal info, so I cannot incorporate a web site!!

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Benj
Assistant Manager - West Lancs PCG
Ben Smith
Ben.Smith@nswl-tr.nwest.nhs.uk

It seems to me what you are talking about is best done on a WEB site using HTML and CGI scripts. I have a simple form on my WEB site that when the user fills it out and hits submit I recive an e-mail with all of the info.
Are you sending them specific data that changes and they are responding to it. Or could they go to a WEB site or Page and just key in information that changes to be sent back to you.
If you have Office 2000, more flexibity comes with it that say Office '97. In 2000 Access and Outlook data transfer is seamless. Which would make the e-mail data back from them to Access a snap.

DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.
