Does anyone know a good e-mail server program running on linux?

Define 'good'. Postfix, Qmail & Sendmail are the most likely candidtates.

Just about every Linux distro comes with its own good default SMTP server, often one of the above, but there's also Exim, the Debian default. You might also be interested in POP/IMAP servers. Courier and Cyrus and Dovecot are popular choices there.

Ditto what smah and TonyGroves said so if you give out stars, I should get one too. ;-)

Wouldn't that be kinda like a Raiders fan doing the one man wave?

Am I the only one that still loves Sendmail?

Life is what happens when you are making other plans.

RhythmAce;
Since I'm in Chicago, I'll spin your analogy to being a Cubs fan doing the one-man wave. :)

qmail uber alles.
