We are sending emails with pdf attachments through our HP-UNIX server.
The .pdf documents are generated from our ERP system via UNIX using the 'sendmail' command and using UU encoding
Most of our clients receive the message correctly with an attachment.
There are no problems at all with e-mails sent internally within our organisation
However some of our clients (in some cases using the same mail client as us - Outlook 2000/Express) do not receive the pdf as an attachment but simply as a list of characters in the main body of the e-mail.
When an e-mail is received like this and they send back to us we can read it no problem and also when we return it they can also read it no problem.
This is really bizarre - has anyone experienced similar problems?
Any suggestions on what we can try?
