What good e-mail alternatives are there for Outlook? All I am looking for is a client that is easy to configure multiple mailboxes and if possible connect to web based email like Yahoo or Hotmail

Use Netscape mail.Using Netscape 7 is an excellent experience ,much better than earlier versions of Netscape and also better than IE6 (which I have been using till recently, and do return occasionally now). The mail client of Netscape(and also addressbook) is accessible from browser ,very convenient to send mail in jiffy. The HTML mail interface is realy convenient.Multiple accounts can be configured.
Even costomisation of browser is provided so that you can customise the browser and distribute it on network and CD .The POP/IMAp mail(and proxy settings) from your company gets embedded in browser if you so cutomise it.
Its also safe and fast. You can use netscape.net mail accounts (free) for web access and also IMAP access through Netscape Mail interface.
