I am having somo trouble with my Merlin Magix system connected to a Cisco 1751-V voip router.

The scenarion is this...

On both side of my offices I have 4 e&m channels from my pbx system connected to the Cisco. the offices are connected by an cisco aironet bridge.

The problem is that when I dial from a remote side, all e&m channels get seized, so a second person can not make a second call. And if the person that i am dialing doesnt answer an a secon person wants to make a call, he or she cuts my call.

Any sugestions.

Cisco version 12.0 T
Merlin magix newest versions.

Have you checked all the wiring at both locations? It sounds like you may have some shorted or crossed wires with your E/M leads. You might try disconnecting all but one of the ckts and see if it works by itself, then go from there. The E/M leads do the signalling on the ckt and the T/R/T1/R1 leads are your voice receive and transmit pairs.

Hope this helps!
