I have a 0x32 MICS 5.0 rel 6.06 with T1. Trunks set as E&M, Wink, Auto Answer. When using Feature 4 to external call forward the lines to the answering service, the call is only heard in one direction. The calling party can hear the answering service but the answering service cannot hear the calling party. I have heard that some version of MICS software fixed this. Does anyone know how I can make the external call forwarding to work with the E&M trunks. By the way we tried it with regular loop start trunks and external call forwarding worked fine. After we changed to the T1 it would not. Thanks in advance for the help.

E & M Wink External Call Forward Trouble

See if you can play with the answer timer. I think the NORSTAR system forwards the call before the complete talk path has been set up. You can test this by calling in and have someone answer, make sure you can talk to each other then transfer the call. If you and the finale destination can talk fine then it is something to with the call set up in the forward mode. Good luck
