I have seen this alarm on several systems, I just drop the alarm off but in time it comes back. The systems are not using e-911. Anyboby else have this problem?

It means that someone tried to call 911, but there were no lines assigned to the E911 function, and an alarm was generated. In the ARS menu, there is an E911 portion. Select it, and under the E911 partition, put in a few lines for dialing out, and the alarm won't come back. The idea, was that if a Magix was used in a large area, diferent trunks using different CID's would to specify where the call originated, and thereby send the emergency crews to the right location sooner. (Emergency services display CID along with location) I think there is an Illinois law that requires something like as well. so Avaya complied.
