Hello, in Access 2002 I have a form with a subform that has a dynaset linked to a SQL server table.
The user double clicks a row and a data entry form comes up. When the data entry form button "OK" is clicked it returns to the form with the dynaset subform. If I refresh the (main) form the first record is selected in the subform.

Is there a way to select the record that was double clicked?

I have value of the id field I can use to find it but I do not know how to do that.
Thanks
djj

What is the actual code launching the data entry form ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Long day yesterday and was not thinking streight when I left the post.

The answer was:
1) save current position using CurrentRecord - this was done in the subform
2) to the main form add DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acGoTo, aRecordPos below the refresh command - I needed to add On Error code

The record is at the bottom of the list but it works.

Thanks
djj
