I'm not quite sure this is the best place to find the answer to this question but here goes anyway ...

I would like to know if it is possible to author a Flash or Shockwave file that can dynamically RESIZE and re-POSITION its elements to fit the ALL or (a given) PART OF the Live-Space of the browser/window (not the entire screen area)..

My Thoughts:
Since there is no way (that I know) of getting the Live-Space of the container Browser/window from within Flash or Shockwave, the only option is "get" these values using JavaScript, and then "send" them to the embedded (Flash or Shockwave) object which must be able to use the said values to resize/reposition itself and its elements accordingly.

Ok, does this make sense? More importanly, how can I achieve the stated effect.

Thanks

try this...may / may not solve the problem

publish the movie at 100% x 100%

add the following to html page produced...the body tag

<BODY bgcolor=&quot;#3399FF&quot; leftmargin=&quot;0&quot; topmargin=&quot;0&quot; marginwidth=&quot;0&quot;
marginheight=&quot;0&quot;>

leave your own color just add the margin arguements and load the swf through the html page.
