Hi

I'm not sure that this is going to make sense but I'll give it a go!

I have a Crytsla Report (Version 14) that reports on various items on various servers within a company group. The report has several sub reports which show detailed information at server level.

I need to create a new sub report that displays mailbox sizes within an exchange server. The data is held within a CSV and the path of the CSV changes based upon the company and the specific server being interogated.

The path will be L:\CompanyName\ServerName\MBSizes.csv where the only constant is the filename itself.

Is there a way to set the datasource dynamically to that path?

Thanks

Steve

I have never heard of a way to dynamically change the data source in Crystal Reports. Maybe as a .net application.

One way you could achieve it would be a sub report for each company, each with its own data source. Then suppress the 'other' sub reports based on the parameter selection at run time.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Pete.
