Dynamically going back six weeks from the date entered by the user

Hi,
I have a situation here like from BO report user enters a date. I need to get data for each week from that date going back 6 weeks. I have the logic in the BO universe but it is hindering the performance of the query. So I want to built this logic in the calendar dimension. Any ideas/thoughts?

This is going to sound naive, but why not add a column in the calendar dimension called "Six Wks Ago" and calculate the values using a sp or trigger each time a row is INSERTed into the calendar dimension?
