I need to connect a CR report to a web page to display inventory info, such as item #, bin location, description, on-hand, etc. The way that it will need to work is that when the user clicks on the inventory item picture or a hyperlink, I need to display that info.

My question is, that since I am new to this, is how do I do it? We are using Windows platforms, but we are using Linux based RaQ web servers. Also, not all users will have CR installed on their pcs. So I think that I will need some sort of plug-in.

Any ideas, documentation, how-to's, etc?

There are several ways:

You can write the code completely in ASP and ignore crystal.
You can install crystal enterprise and let it do the work. That can get expensive ($50,000+).
You can install the web components and call crystal. But you will hit a user limitation.

We like the first alternative.
