I've created a Dynamic text and I've added a lengthy link to my text. I've gone ahead and made all my ampersands all unicode. When I run the movie and click on the link only part of the url is executed and of course gives me an error. The weird thing is that it stops in the middle of a value of a variable.

Any suggestions??

just an idea but could this be a server problem. you may have exceeded the maximum number of chars the server accepts in a url

How can I check that? I don't even know where to look! I did notice that 145 characters are the amount that are being passed. I'll look at the server and see if I can find anything that would cause it to do that...

I can get the link to work when I use the getURL("") command on a button. No problems, so I don't think it would be a server error.

I've had a problem in the past reading long links into Flash from XML files - there's a limit of 128 characters in a dynamic URL I believe.
