Hiya -

My Director skills are extremely rusty, and I was wondering if someone here could let me know if it's possible to render dynamic text using Director's 3D engine?

I've looked in all the usual places for info on this, but to no avail. That usuaully means it ain't possible ;) But thought someone here might be able to help..?

Thanks in advance,

-B.

Ain't possible"? There are no such words in Director!

There are two ways to create a 3D text dynamically. The first one is to set the [tt]displayMode[/tt] of a text member to [tt]#mode3D[/tt]. The other one is to create a 3D resource from a text member using [tt]extrude3D[/tt] command then generate a 3D model in a 3D world.
