I made a copy of a movie clip that uses dynamic text from a txt document. The text is formated in the text document as html and selected in Flash to render as html text. The first instance of the text works perfectly with bold, font sizes that differ the works BUT when I made a copy of the movie clip and configured the new variable and txt filename suddenly the dynamic text display as tiny. When I take the "render and html" away in Flash then it's fine. Can anyone shed some light please...Thanks

Curious! Have you scaled the new movie clip in ant way? Did you duplicate it in the Library, or just made a copy of the original one on stage?
Can you post a link to your .fla or a mockup, recreating the situation?

I made a duplicate movie in the library and called it something totally different (I had such a problem in the past with a name that says "copy"). I did scale but in the original movie and copy the text only displays after the scaling thus making it irrelevant..I would think :) but what boggles my mind is when I take the "Render text as HTML" in Flash of it display fine, obviously with the html tags in the text document. I deleted the html tags in the txt document but still it renders small. Gosh, it just doesn't make sense...Unfortunately it's on intranet development..Just thought I missed something...

You'll never believe me, I'm a idiot... I did exactly what I said I didn't do (if that makes any sense, I am sure it does)..

Well the duplicate movie clip was placed in a scaled area... Next time I better put on a thinking cap...Thanks for the trigger...
