Dynamic Text Loading BUT not displaying in Browser

Hello:

Ran into a problem I've never encountered before, hoping someone here has and can help out. I've got a site that has many Flash movies with dynamic text boxes, with the text loading from a text file. The text loads when testing the movie, and even when playing the SWF file. But it does not load in the webpage in the browser.

I'm using loadVarsText to load the text in the Flash movie, and the website is CSS-based design.

If anyone has run into this or has any thoughts, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, oldnewbie:

It was actually one of your replies to an old post that gave me the answer -- path was relative to SWF file rather than HTML file. once I made the path in actionscript relative to HTML file rather than Flash file, it showed up fine in browser. I seem to remember not having to do that in the past for some reason -- if it worked in the testing environment, it worked in the browser.

I haven't been to this site in a while, but it's great and I love it, mostly because of helpful people like oldnewbie and BillPower.
