Dynamic text box - width. 1

Hi all,

Now I'm really confused. I thought I'd understand the basics of Flash.

I'm creating a dynamic news ticker. Loading the the text from a .txt file. All this is ok. I then apply the text to a dynamic textfield. This works too. My problem is though, that the text field's width seems not to dynamicaly ajust to the actual text. What am I missing?

If you're using MX there are properties associated with the textfield object which you can access - 'autosize' is probably the answer to your problem.
