I am having a problem masking dynamic text. Basically when I attempt to apply a mask to the layer that has the dynamic text on it, the text doesn't show up at all. The mask works correctly in that it does mask other elements on the layer. The dynamic text works correctly when I remove the mask. So is there something about masks and dynamic text boxes that they don't get along with each other?

hey bro.. I just had this question on like 3 down from you or so... But OldNewbie helped me out.. Here's what you gotta do.
all masked input/dynamic textboxes need to have the font's you are using embedded.. So click on each dynamic text box & click on "character" in the properties panel & choose which characters you want flash to embed.. Once they are embedded in the correct fonts, they will show up..
