How would one be able to name a target file with a value from the source data, and make it different each day?

In other words, I have a source with a field (here is an example of the value in the field, '20041012') and I want to name the target file something like this....

TargetFile_20041012.out

Tomorrow the value will be 20041013, so the target file will be named

TargetFile_20041013.out

etc.

Can this be done?

Thanks so much in advance,

bitt

By the way, I am using 6.2.2.

Thanks,

bitt

bittmapp,

here's my quick thought:

I can't think of a way to have a dynamic filename in a mapping. However, one approach you could try is to always output to the same file and use a command task in the workflow to rename the file afterwards.
