Is this possible in crystal reports
the user selects the fields he wants on the report from the given choices , the fields are shown on the screen( this may be in some activeX component ) he then drags the field, places where he wants in the final report and then generates a report.......can the position be decided dynamically in crystal reports...can this be passed as a parameter or so........am i talking of the impossible here.....?
please help

Sounds like you are doing a pivot table. CR 8/8.5 has built-in OLAP capabilities. I've not used them but think you could read up and make something work using this service.

Sounds like you want to build a report at runtime from an ASP. I have an example that I got from Seagate. I couldn't find it on their web site, though, but if you give me your email address, I'll send it to you.
