Hi,

Disclaimer - I have limited experience with setting up dynamic prompts. I created a dynamic prompt and it is behaving the way I want to by going to the database and retrieving the list of values. The only thing is that when I refresh the data, it prompts me to enter the username and password again. Normally I only need to enter this info once when I first run the report. Is there a way to save the username and password in the report? My reports with static parameters only prompt me for this info when I initially run the report.

I’m on Crystal X1/Oracle 9i.

Thanks for any help.

Not within the report itself, it would have to be saved with the report when published to the Enterprise server.

Thanks so much!

Thanks. The report is running from the Infoview without prompting for the username and password. I guess I just don’t understand why when running the report locally in Crystal, it prompts the user each time for the username & password. Static prompts don’t behave that way.
