We are using CR XIR2 FP2.4 with AIX. Most of the reports are using DB2 database for reports. All the dynamic prompts created using the DB2 database are working ok.

Issue: At the time of creating a dynamic prompt using ODBC it is working fine locally. But we change the prompt value to the LOV which was created in the BVM, we got the following error:
"An error has occurred: Item 1 was not found in the collection" in infoview.

We gave the needed username and password in the BVM as well as in the report.

Please give your suggestion/comments.

Thanks,
RR

Spell out unusual (to me at least) acronyms.
LOV? BVM?

If God wanted us to count in Hexadecimal, then why did he only give us A fingers?

I have few reports that are taking very long to run, but when i run it from developer it runs okay as it has 4 on demand subreports atleast it displays the first page, but through enterpersie and passing parameters through web it just times out.
What is the best way of acheiving good performance when doing web reporting.
I have uses log in to portal to access these reports, and 99% they are timing out.
I know it is very broad question, but just want to know different methods of achieving good performance.
