Dynamic Parameters based on Table Value

I have a Parameter field set up called "Project" which relates to one of the tables/fields in my report. I can set a default for this parameter but I would rather have it so when the report is run, the user can view the list of field values from the table and select what they would like. I have not found a way to do this yet. Does anyone know if this can be done?

Select the parameter in the Field explorer. Click button "edit". A dialog box will be shown. In the upper right corner you will see a combo box "List of values" which is set to “Static” -> change it to “Dynamic”. The you will see a group "Choose a data source" in the middle of the form. The group contains a table which first row is "Click here to add item" - do it and select the column that you want to see in the list - this will be the value. The second column (“Description”) can be useful if you want to show something different than the value to the user.

I do not see that combo box in the upper right. I am using CR10.

The fields I do have are:
Name "Project"
Prompting Text: "Project"
Value Type: String

Options
Checkbox Allow Multiple Values
Radial Discrete Values (selected)
Radial Range Values

Dynamic parameters only became available with CR XI, so you cannot do this in CR10.

Then you can use third party tools to run the report.

The accounting system we use utilized CR10 so until we upgrade that, it's what I have. It will be fine for now. Was just trying to make it easier on my users.
